Summer Learning Journey - Sport & Leisure activity

Airport trip

Airport trip

I was woken up by my mother as she was about to pull me out of the bed since I wasn't waking up which was just great. So I got up got ready and jumped in the car, so me my sister, nan and mother were taking my cousin and uncle to the airport. So me and my cousin were in the back sleeping and my sister and nan were in the middle so that means my uncle and my mum were in the front. So me and my cousin weren't being smart the night before because we were stayed up to 1:00 am when we had to leave at 4:00 am so we went to sleep even though we should've just stayed up until we went but to late. So when we were in the car and went to sleep because we were to tired. But when we got there my mum parked at the drop off section and we said our goodbyes to them and had hugs then they went into the airport and we went to Mcdonalds got breakfast and drove back home so that I could go to school today so yeah it was a alright trip but it was sad when they left so yeah I miss them already but it's alright so yeah thats my airport trip, byeeee : ) 

Rotorua

The Saturday after the last day of school rolled around and me and my family woke up at 7 - 7:15 am we got up did the morning essentials then we were on our way to Mcdolands and then we got hot chocolates and left to Rotorua. The time we were in the car it felt like forever it take like 5 hours and 30 minutes to get to Rotorua from where I was but add like another half an hour because my sister shes 2 and needed to do her stuff so it took even longer and also plus food so yeah it felt like forever. But when we finally got there it was amazing I got out of the car and stretched till I could reach the sun then went into the motel we were staying at which was a nice modern clean motel. Then the next morning rolled around and we got ready as per usual and then we went to Velocity Vally Adventure Park which was were you can do the swoop which was actually what me and two of my brothers did Kalani and Rico. So we got buckled in then they pulled us all they to 40 metres high and the only way to get down was pulling a string thing. So then they started counting down and then my brother pulled it, woosh we went down so fast and it was amazing although at first it shocked me how fast we went down but it was still amazing so yeah that was one of the many amazing things we did so yeah bye

Maths D.L.O

This week we had to create a maths D.L.O on one of the activities we did for maths. So me and my friend created this google drawing showing you what we did for maths, and it's including what we do for our warm up and our actual task to figure out. I hope you enjoy what we have created so yeah :)

Te Reo

Hi everybody this is my Te Reo presentation that we did with a teacher that comes in to our class to teach us since were not apart of the bilingual unit and my main teacher doesn't know a lot off by heart so it's good to have her come and teach our native language. So this week we learnt our pepeha structure with our grandparents in it from both of my parents side. I am sorry but I don't know what all of it was so I tried my best. But we also learnt how to do it with a character  which was fun and my character that I chose was spongebob squarepants so yeah I hope you enjoy it ; )

My first enounters timeline

Hi everybody this is mine and my groups New Zealand first encounters timeline and we created it on popplet. It wasn't to hard to make because we already gathered the information and all we had to do is put it on popplet, add pictures and make it look nice and presentable for people to see on this popplet

My first encounter writing

This is my first encounter writing and it is about Abel Tasman when he first came to New Zealand but there's not that much to say about this except I hope enjoy it : )
